~BEGINNING OF A DREAM~

Two long time friends, Shane and Paul had a dream of beginning their own cleaning business.  With nothing more than a few bucks and determination the two set off to start a commercial cleaning business in Connecticut in 1995.  From that business a carpet cleaning business was born in an effort to make their company more versatile.    As in any cleaning and carpet cleaning business, Shane and Paul relied on their local distributor, New England Steamway. Not only for their support but also for their equipment and supply needs, including the purchase of their very first carpet cleaning machine, a Powermatic 2100. Later in 1999, an opportunity arose where Shane and Paul along with a third partner, (Keith) were able to purchase New England Steamway and a new adventure as distributors began.   Over the years as distributors, the three have sold and repaired various brands and models of carpet and upholstery cleaning machines.  It is through this experience, along with the experience of personally running their own carpet cleaning business that they saw a need for a high performing machine.  They understood the importance and need for reliability and for improvement on equipment that was already out there.  From this need and understanding came the creation and development of their very own carpet cleaning/power washing machines and from this need and understanding came the creation of Multi-Steam.
